To heal ourselves, we must heal our planet and to heal our planet, we must heal ourselves.
—Bobby McLeod

Excerpts from Weekly Session of "Messages from the Angels and Ascended Masters" - May 18th, 2010 - Yeshua speaks on the power of self, poverty consciouness and more.

Here are some key insights from Yeshua offered during the May 18th 2010 “Weekly Messages from the Angels and Ascended Masters” group held at my office each Tuesday night starting at 4:00.He spoke for almost 45 minutes. Unfortunately, I did not record this session which is why only excerpts are provided here.

At last week’s meeting, (5-11-10) Mother Mary mentioned the power of sound as a form of healing and more.  After her message, we discussed how each of us have worked with sound in various ways for healing as well as simply “tuning in” to our higher selves.   One group member mentioned a chant that she likes to work with and we all agreed it would be nice to try it before our next weekly meeting.  The chant is RA MA DA SA SA SAY SO HUNG and it means “I am Thou.” It is also used to mean, “The service of God is within me.”

This week we started the group by chanting RA MA DA SA SA SAY SO HUNG for about 5 minutes.  After our opening prayer, I tuned in to Spirit. I wasn’t sure who was going to come through and then felt the presence of Yeshua, whom I then invited to speak to our group.   He immediately began by commenting on the chanting we had just done.

He told us not to underestimate the healing power of sound and that even chanting that phrase for just a few minutes with loving intentions had healed many people in the immediate vicinity.  (My inner vision suggested a healing for a woman at the salon next door as well as someone across the street.)

Yeshua went on to describe how sound works to offer healing on a subatomic basis. While I can’t recall his exact words in this regard, his eloquence in relaying details of this concept was very powerful.  He said that sound works as a wave at a subatomic level and these waves can clear and rebuilt at that level, resulting in a healing in the body.

He then went on to emphasize the power of each individual person. He alluded to our conversation of last week in which small groups in unity can change the world and confirmed that each individual person has immense power on their own.  He referred back to the biblical quote of “Greater things than these shall ye do.”  He mentioned how people are often afraid of owning their power and this s part of what hold each of us back.

He then spoke of how Prescott has a large population of people in poverty consciousness.  He emphatically stated that if even ONE person in Prescott completely overcame their poverty consciousness, it would positively impact the consciousness of the entire community.

He spoke of the reasons for poverty consciousness as being a consciousness of lack often mixed with feelings of low self worth.  People don’t feel worthy enough to purchase or think they can have the things they desire so they use the concept of money to hold themselves back from obtaining things which ultimately keeps them from being happy. (This isn’t to suggest that things make us happy but by not allowing things to naturally come to us, we block happiness from coming into our life.)  He asked us very poignantly if we didn’t feel we could afford a $4 cup of coffee at Starbucks, how could we ever feel deserving of the larger things we desire in life?

Later, when asked by a group member how to overcome poverty consciousness he offered the following advice.  He encouraged everyone to take a brief moment after waking each morning to connect to Spirit in gratitude.  He suggested starting each day with a brief 30 second visualization. He spoke of allowing the golden-white light of Spirit to flow down into your heart space, then allow it to flow through your entire body and down into Mother Earth. Feel the energies of Mother Earth flowing back up through you, cleansing you, as Heaven and Earth combine into Spirit.1  While in this visualization, focus on a feeling of gratitude for all you are, all you have become and all you have received.  Then begin to feel the abundance of who you really are; knowing that nothing will ever be held back from you.

The point of this initial exercise is to shift your consciousness at an energetic level at the start of your day and thereby setting yourself up to allow your desires to flow into your awareness more easily.  He noted how being in a place of gratitude and awe as creator and creation will allow more positive energies to flow toward you throughout the day.  Then it simply becomes a matter of holding an image in mind of what you desire and feeling it come to you with a knowing that it is already yours.

As he spoke of this process, we could literally feel the shifts occurring within us.  I – and I think everyone else – could feel his passion and our possibilities unfold through his words.  My words here cannot compare with actually being there and feeling his presence.  We all felt incredibly moved and empowered by his message.  Afterwards, we all said in unison “Wow!”

He left us with a new prayer – which we all clamored together afterwards to try to remember. The prayer’s essence is:

"I now allow the energy of Spirit to flow throughout my being and all around me,

I now allow the energy of my being to combine with that of Spirit and to flow into infinite existence,

I now allow the energy of creation to manifest into our collective Oneness,

I now allow my inner being to accept and experience the manifestation of Oneness of All and bring to light all things that I desire and knowingly deserve."

1 This visualization has been brought to my attention a lot lately.  Author Debbie Johnson has referred to it as the “Golden Minute of Your Day” and advocates 30 seconds before bed and another 30 seconds when you wake up with a very similat meditation.  A recent training course I attended on “Spiritual Response Therapy” also uses a similar visualization, combined with breathe work to help you clear yourself and connect with Spirit.  It is also very close to one I have worked with in Wicca.

Special Thanks to Rosalinda for providing us with the chant and to Lynn for taking notes on the prayer and meditation.
